The pannier is massively dwarfing the folding bicycle but when you need to carry two inner tubes, waterproof clothing, charger for a Blackberry, book and/or magazine to read on the train, spare glasses, MP3 player, and last but not least a laptop you need a big pannier and plenty of strenght. Thursday I even had to carry the lot down ten flights of stairs as the lift was full.

Pannier
